Our one-to-one IELTS tuition is designed to support students preparing for the IELTS Academic test as part of their university application. Whether you need targeted support in one skill area or structured guidance across the full test, these sessions provide calm, focused preparation delivered with care and clarity.
We help students approach the exam with confidence, strategy, and a genuine understanding of how to perform at their best.

Course Format

Duration: 50 minutes

Schedule: Each session is tailored to the student’s needs — whether that’s improving writing cohesion, speaking fluency, or strategies for reading and listening under time pressure

Materials: All practice texts and resources are emailed in advance, allowing students to prepare and engage fully

Courses run intensively during school holidays, mirroring the structure of our university preparation programmes.

Progress Tracking & Communication

  • Tutors provide regular written updates (based on session frequency), outlining what has been covered, what’s improving, and what still needs focus
  • Every six sessions, we offer a 15 minute review. For students under 18, this includes a short parent-tutor conversation to share progress, highlight strengths, and outline next steps.
  • For adult learners, the review can be used to reassess goals, adjust focus areas, or receive detailed verbal feedback. These reviews ensure that everyone involved — student, parent, and tutor — stays aligned on what’s working, what needs further attention, and how to move forward effectively.
  • Students are guided in setting realistic goals, managing stress, and approaching the test with structured preparation

What We Focus On

Depending on your goals and current level, sessions may include:
  • Writing Task 1 (Data/Process) and Task 2 (Essay) feedback and structure
  • Speaking practice with targeted vocabulary and fluency support
  • Listening strategies for note-taking and accuracy
  • Reading techniques for time management and comprehension
  • Language development tailored to the IELTS band descriptors
All teaching is grounded in the belief that confidence comes not from shortcuts or pressure, but from meaningful progress, clear strategy, and thoughtful preparation.
